Nothing Lucia does is of any importance whatsoever, but don't tell her that. She's one of the most pretentious people you will ever meet, in fiction or in life. Her primary goal in life is to maintain her position as cultural arbiter of her very small town. And yet, she's utterly captivating.

She has spawned six books by the original author, sequels by later writers, a British television series, and now this musical, based on the first book Queen Lucia, by E.F. Benson.
